Our Story
The space that is now the entrance to Adriana’s Bistro Café was once part of the Master Pastries factory, used as a storage area.
One day, the landlord – after being frequently asked by people curious about what was being made inside, as they often mentioned the wonderful smell coming from the factory – spoke with Adriana and said:
“Why don’t you open a café here in front of the factory? You could serve what you already produce, and it would be a great opportunity to introduce your products to the Irish public as well.”
Adriana thought about this conversation for a few days. Seeing the potential, she decided to open the café. Its first name was Gran Sabores, though it still displayed Master Pastries at the front.
The grand opening took place on 8 August 2023, featuring both Irish and Brazilian menus — and it was a success! Since then, the café’s popularity has continued to grow. Irish customers quickly connected with the place and began recommending it, while Brazilians found a home away from home, the only spot in the area serving authentic Brazilian food.
A year after opening, the café could no longer accommodate the growing number of visitors. That’s when it became necessary to expand and open the upper dining area. What began with just five tables and sixteen chairs transformed into a welcoming space for up to seventy guests.
